DIY Conversation Heart bracelets
I am now getting ready for Valentine's Day. If you know me very well, you know I love color, and so I am very excited to be making these cheery, pastel conversation heart bracelets! My daughter is making them along with me to give to her friends at her Valentines Day party!
Here's what I used:
Elastic String - I ordered mine (1mm) from Amazon here
Pastel Heart Beads - You can also find those on Amazon here
Super Glue (optional)
First, you will need to decide the pattern you want to go with for your bracelets. I went with a simple rainbow pattern, using one of each color and repeating.
Then, you will need to decide the length you want your bracelet to be. We used 20 beads per bracelet, and it fit my daughter and myself well.
Thread the beads onto the elastic string until you have it the length that you need. Once you have that, you will need to knot the string and trim the string ends. I tied 3 knots for mine.
An extra tip - I then added a small dab of super glue to each knot, and then pulled one side of the elastic string so that the knot would slide into and stay inside a bead. The glue will help the knot from slipping and untying, and sliding the knot inside a bead will help the knot to stay out of sight.
Happy Crafting! I hope you enjoy making (and wearing) these as much as us!!
